"I am fortunate. I wake up every morning with a roof over my head, I am happy & healthy, & I love what I do. And although I know that I am I am not saving the world by making my jewelry, I like to think that what I do makes people happy and we could all use a little more happy in this world. I spend my days talking to customers and designing pieces that are special to them. Whether to celebrate their achievements or to voice their strength & courage through personal mantras, I am honored to be a small part of their lives.

Since I started my business, many of my customers' stories have touched me. A leukemia survivor who ignored the doctors who told her she shouldn't run... and completed her first marathon. Sisters who lost their mother after a long battle with breast cancer. A soldier's necklace for his daughter, with a beautiful engraving on the back, before leaving to Afghanistan.

The other day, someone asked me if I would be designing anything special for Breast Cancer Awareness month and it got me thinking. Yes, I wanted to design something for Breast Cancer awareness, but really for awareness in general. As the daughter of two cancer survivor, the grandaughter of holocaust survivors, and a friend to many impacted by AIDS, by Autism, and by so much more, why not find a way to support all of these causes and more.

SEAN JAMES STUDENT ATHLETES FOUNDATION COLLECTION

I am honored to partner with the Sean James Student Athletes Foundation to offer this collection. SJSA's mission is to provide youth who have achieved academic success and display a passion for sports and the arts the opportunity to attend sports and creative arts camps throughout the country. It is their hope that this interaction will promote their interaction with peers from different backgrounds and will further expose them to new experiences and surroundings which will ultimately foster their personal growth.
